Thomas Banks 16 hits his first ever competition 9 darter in the Semi Final of the British Open Youth singles at the Spa Bridlington. Whilst playing Tavis Dudeney in a semi final match and after a slow start in the first leg which Thomas won in 24 darts, he then stepped up to start the second leg with a perfect 180 followed by a second and finally a 141 checkout to the roar of the crowd to complete a magic 9 dart finish. Thomas went on to win the match 4-0 with further legs of 17 and 14 darts. Thomas finished with a total of 5 x 180's and a 93.93 average.
